STAFF ROLES & GUIDELINES.

One Community. Three Servers. One Standard of Respect.

Welcome to PTX! Our community is built on fair play, respect, transparency and teamwork. Every staff member has clearly defined responsibilities and limitations. No rank grants the right to abuse authority.

RESPONSIBILITIES & LIMITATIONS

OFFICIAL STAFF ROLES.

DEVELOPER (DEV)

Development & Technical Support

Developers maintain and improve our servers, integrate mods, fix bugs, optimize performance and test new features.

  • Technical access must never be used for unfair gameplay advantages.

ADMIN

Administration & Server Management

Administrators oversee server operations, enforce rules, resolve serious disputes, supervise staff and issue justified disciplinary actions.

  • All decisions must remain fair and impartial, regardless of friendships or personal disagreements.

MODERATOR

Fair Play & Community Enforcement

Moderators maintain order and ensure a safe, respectful gaming environment.

  • Monitor player behavior and rule compliance.
  • Investigate suspicious activities and player reports.
  • Issue warnings or remove players when justified.
  • Use teleportation and administrative tools only for official duties.
  • Escalate serious incidents to Administrators.
  • Never use permissions for personal loot, faster travel or helping their own group gain advantages.

HELPER

Player Assistance & Support

Helpers are trusted team members who assist players and support the PTX community.

  • Help new and experienced players.
  • Explain server rules, mechanics and features.
  • Respond to questions and report technical issues.
  • Monitor suspicious behavior.
  • Use assigned VPP tools responsibly.
  • Refer serious incidents to Moderators or Administrators.
  • Limited moderation permissions do not grant Administrator authority.

VETERAN

Experience, Loyalty & Trust

Veteran is a recognition awarded to players who demonstrate long-term commitment, maturity, respect and positive contributions to PTX.

  • Be an experienced and active community member.
  • Respect server rules and set a positive example.
  • Help maintain a friendly community.
  • Use limited player-list viewing access responsibly.
  • Report suspicious behavior or potential rule violations to an Admin or Moderator without making accusations.
  • Veterans are NOT Administrators, Moderators or Helpers. They cannot punish players, teleport others, spawn items or make administrative decisions.
  • Veteran status is earned, not automatic. Playtime, activity, behavior, contribution and trust are considered.

No Abuse of Power

Administrative tools are for legitimate server duties only.

Equal Treatment

Friends, donors and staff are subject to the same rules.

Respect Everyone

Harassment, threats, insults and toxic behavior are prohibited.

No Unfair Advantages

Staff permissions must never be used for personal gain.

Confidentiality

Internal information and player reports must be handled responsibly.

Accountability

Serious administrative actions must have legitimate reasons.

Right to Appeal

Players may report staff misconduct or unfair treatment.

Consequences

Violations may lead to warnings, revoked permissions or removal from the staff team.
